Restoration Services

Also restored was a historical Victorian Mansion on Summit Avenue in St. Paul, Minnesota.  The exterior was painted using 19 coordinated colors.  The exterior required stripping, reconditioning and repair before painting was possible.  The interior wood including doors on all three floors required stripping, staining, and varnishing to restore it to its original condition.  All walls were refurbished and painted.  A new tin ceiling was installed in the basement.  We completely restored the 5 fireplaces in the home and installed antique and unique tiles bringing them back to their original state.  Antique and period lighting fixtures and all hardware were furnished with our help.  This project continues to be a work in progress as more decorative and restorative touches are requested.

One of our current projects underway is the A.J. Tanner building in Ely, Minnesota, the “Gateway” to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.  This is a 3 story plus building and is listed on the National Registory of Historic Places.  It was built in 1903 with a brick exterior.   This building is in need of total restoration inside and out.  Our Photo Gallery shows the building in it current state.  This is a project we are looking forward to restoring to its amazing original condition.  Luxury condominiums are planned for the three floors.  If you have any interest in a permanent residence or summer home in Ely, please click on “Contact Us” and we will provide you with additional information.
